Weight          :  2 - 2.5 kg

Gestation     :  67 days, litter size 2 - 3 

Life span     :  10 - 15 years

Breeding     :  No definite. Frequent during summer. 




👉Description  :  One of the smallest cats. Fawn grey from above with the rufous tinge of varying intensity and marked with rusty or brown lines or spots. Two black parallel line-like markings on head are distinctive. 


👉Food   :  Small birds, reptiles, big insects etc. 



👉Distribution   :  Shoolpaneshwar sanctuary, South Gujarat forest area, Girnar and Gir forests, forests of Chhot a Udepur, Ratanmahal, Kewadia forest and forests of Dangs. 



👉Habitat   :  Well-wooded forest areas. Frequents open countryside, scrubs and grassland. 



👉Behaviour   :  Least known, Nocturnal, Terrestrial but up to some extent arboreal also.




👉In India, this cat is found in forests of South India, Western Ghats and some parts of Kashmir.
