My Old Memories

           

                  CELEBRATION OF SPORTS FESTIVAL

              the Sports Festival was celebrated in our school with great enthusiasm. It started at 8.00a.m. with a great ceremony. Various Sport and games were arranged for the students of the school. 

                                  First of all, our sports teacher wished us Best of Luck'. Then our principal, Miss Shruti Shah advised us to play with sportsmanship. Then after the sports and games were started.

                                              First of all, 100 meter race was started. Many students took part in this race and I stood first. There were also lemon race, the spoon race etc. High jump, long jump and the pole jump were also held. Team games like basket ball, football and cricket were also played. I was the captain of one cricket team. Our team won by 25 runs. I became the Man of the Match. 

                                                 Our teacher were the umpires and the referees for the day. There was a big festival like atmosphere. The Mayor, Mr. Bharat Patel was the chief guest. Almost 100 students participated in the competitions.

                                                   Winners were given medals and certificates by the chief guest. He congratulated the winners and encouraged the rest of the participants. Thus, the programme came to an end.
